Keith Perry has been known as a Blues/Rock/Pop guitarist up until this solo album but with it he has established himself as a new age classical composer. Traveling without leaving is traditional orchestral music with a twist. Actually a lot of twists since this is one classical composer that doesn't play by the rules, leading the listener off into a different direction at every opportunity. This is a very challenging set of pieces to listen to but very rewarding and fresh nonetheless.
