Scooter Lee
Mule Dog Magazine in proud to introduce you to "best kept secret" in country
music radio: Scooter Lee. Her Would You Consider CD has the best beat of
we've heard. It has a powerful rhythm and brass section that gives
it a power push calculated to get dancers out on the floor. The band sounds a
little like a "Blues Brothers Super Group" and her vocals keep up with the
high energy with ease. There are even a few nice ballads included and of note
is one absolutely fantastic song called "I Still Believe" nice pick! We even
get great up-tempo Western Swing number called "If You Don't Straighten Up"!
Definitely prepared for anything there are at the end
of the CD. She holds the British title "Country Dance Artist Of The Year" for
1997, 1998, 1999 & 2000 and she was inducted into the British Dance Hall Of
Fame for 2000. She also runs her own production company which produces
instructional dance videos that are distributed worldwide through her
website and amazon.com
1997 gave her the opportunity to work
alongside the Mavericks at the Orange Bowl in Miami while 1999
allowed her to "wow them" at the London Palladium with Mark Chestnutt. A
great Country Album from a great lady.
