ALIEN SKIN SOFTWARE'S XENOFEX2

The software is Xenofex 2 by Alien Skin Software. Alien
Skin Software develops filters for Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements,
Macromedia Fireworks, and Jasc Paint Shop Pro. Graphic designers and
digital photographers everywhere use our plugins for print, Web, and
photo restoration work. If you've worked with Paintshop programs you
know that plugins are analagous to drill extensions where you can
attach different device that perform differing functions to one main
unit specifically the drill. In a paint program, once you have the
image you want to enhance you apply the filter on it for the desired
correction or optical effect. Among the filters are the best cloud
generator ever

and a very adjustable lightning generator to give your
art a jolt of energy when needed.

The new Rip Open filter is really
interesting and is already being used in many ad campaigns because of
its startling fresh look.

We reviewed another of this companies'
plugins called Image Doctor in our last issue
