"Four Twenty a.m." JAMES RIDER & THE 420 TURNAROUND

If you like your Rock a little Southern fried you'll really enjoy this powerhouse. There is a lot here including the hard Southern Rock reminiscent of Lynyrd Skynyrd crossed with the Rolling Stones. There is also a really unexpected side to this CD that takes us on some surprise detours. Some of the tracks get down to just the vocals and guitar and speak with the raw urgency of a John Prine or David Allen Coe. There is some really fine stuff here, true art that catches one in it's grasp, frozen by it's unvarnished honesty. This is one of the best CD's we've heard this year and we highly recommend it.
