RICHARD BURR

Richard Burr is a singer songwriter who performs his own songs. That in itself is quite an accomplishment but the list of accomplishments for Richard goes on and on: He was voted "NEW MALE RISING STAR" in October of 1999 by Independent European Country Radio, this year his hit song "Whispers in the Dark" wound up on the MP3.com Country charts at #2. He also has been included in "The Best of MP3.com" and the "Nashville Sonwriters Pick the Hits". Richard worked with Nashville hit writers Randy Sharp and CMA award winner Karen Brooks. He has backed up many top groups including Asleep at the Wheel, The Oak Ridge Boys, Joel Sonnier and Jonny Rodriguez. Richard grew up in the small farming community of Lindsay in the heart of California's San Joaquin Valley. He has a high voice and is an emotional singer who allows a tear to creep in now and then. His voice reminds me of a mixture of Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Jackson Brown. His songs are of the finest caliber and makes him truly a rising star in our book. You can visit his website at:
