Joyce-Meré is a real award winner. Winner of 2000 Golden Music Award for best songwriter , USA and EUROPE Winner Best Songwriter 2000 Golden Music Awards for USA and European airplay Nominated by the 2000 Golden Music Awards for Rising Star of the Year, New Female Vocalist of the Year, and Best Country Single "She'll Get By" Nominated for Best Female Artist 1999 & for "Are You For Real" , Best Song 1999 by ICMAG 1999 OCT Award Winner for Best Songwriter in Europe and USA Alternative-Country (INDIE) Nominated for Best New Rising Star, nominated for Best Female Vocalist and nominated for Best CD, "Another Shot of Yesterday". She writes all her own music on the CD and sings with a strong and sweet angelic voice. She doesn't have too much of a Country twang in her voice but more of a clear and brilliant tone full of feeling and reflecting what a truly lovely lady she is. She reminds me very much of Karen Carpenter in the feeling but with a bit of Olivia Newton John because of her higher range, especially on songs like "Take Me Back To The Country". Her singing style is incredibly attractive and almost puts a spell on the listener. She sings all her harmony on the choruses and it works out very well. This is an excellent CD from a fabulous lady.
