Mule Dog recording artist Thomas Leary wed
A Cinderella story
I am very happy to announce that I am now
married for the first time in my life and have never been happier. It is
truly a Cinderella story as I married my prom date. We were just kids
when we dated and went to the prom (as the picture shows). We were very
compatible and would have probably been married and lived happily ever after
but because of parental intervention we went our separate ways until many years
later. We both left the area, me to tour in my bands and she to work for AT&T
and Avaya as an executive and trainer. We met at the Rockford Chamber and
started dating immediately. We were wed by Gloria Cudia at Rockford
College in the Fisher Chapel where I played piano and sang two songs to my
bride during the wedding (“You Made Me So Very Happy” and “A Song For
You”). As soon as I moved in a strange thing happened. I woke up
and she cooked me bacon eggs and toast. I was delighted because I
normally just have an Optimum Nutrition protein shake for breakfast and this
was a real treat. It got even stranger when a few hours later she fixed
me sandwiches for lunch! I couldn’t believe this and asked “Is this
normal?” She said she would be fixing me 3 meals a day from now on!
She wasn’t exaggerating because around 6 or so there was a full dinner on the
table. I was in Heaven because I love to eat but have been doing my own
cooking for most of my life.
We spent the whole
summer together because she was between jobs and my IT business is new and
while still bringing in some income has never threatened to work me to death.
We walked, hot tubbed, played and sang and I gained 30 pounds. I don’t
know what she gained because women seem to think if the weight number is not
spoken aloud it doesn’t count. We both had some health issues and agreed
that we had to change our ways or we wouldn’t be around to enjoy our
grandchildren. I have also become an instant grandfather of two beautiful
girls, one two and the other three years old. We started dieting and it was
hard until I found a really exciting brand of supplements. It started
with a scientist named Dr. Myron Wentz Ph.D in immunology and
microbiology. He had been doing research in his Gull laboratories for
twenty years on human cells culminating in the first commercial test for the
Epstein-Barr virus the cause of infections mononucleosis. The stress of
managing the multimillion dollar company began to take its toll on the
scientist and his health began to fail. To correct this problem he turned
to vitamins and since he had a laboratory at his disposal he first tested them
to see which would be most effective for his health. He was astounded to
find that they all fell short of what he had been using to keep human cells
healthy in the laboratory. He found they were made of cheap ingredients,
not formulated to be absorbed by the body and in the wrong ratios to be of any
adequate nutritional value to promote good health. At that point Dr
Wentz made a commitment to provide himself and his family with the highest
level of nutrition possible by taking the research he had done on human cells
and building on it to develop a line of dietary supplements. In 1992 he
founded USANA and began offering these supplements to the public through a
network of representatives that use the products themselves instead of relying
on the traditional advertising and distribution chains that would add to the
cost of producing the product. With quality control a top priority the
products are manufactured to pharmaceutical standards. Sharon and I are
now taking the supplements and have noticed an amazing change in our health and
energy levels. We are losing weight, building muscle and feeling younger
thanks to USANA and a healthy sensible diet. I recommend everyone at
least take the USANA Essentials vitamins. I believe in them and think
once you start taking them you’ll see the difference in your life and want to
continue to take them. For more information and a way I can provide you
wholesale pricing as a preferred customer please contact me at usana@muledog.com for more information.

and I are now ready to live happily ever after. She is also a
photographer so I will be sharing some of her photos from time to time in the
magazine. To all our family and friends thank you for your well wishes.
